Freeform crochet is a visual art for me, but anytime I can create a pattern and explain it, my hope is that the inspiration catches on. The circle behind the “L” is a straightforward crochet-in-the-round. The “L” is freeform and fun to make. If you want to jump around, there are chapters and a timecode below. Circle: w/Color A make a Slip Knot, ch4, sl st into 1st chain sp Rnd1: sc6 into ring, sl st into 1st sc, ch1, pl mk (6) Rnd2: 2 sc into each st around, sl st, ch1, pl mk (12) Rnd3: *sc1, 2 sc into next st*, repeat from * to *, sl st, ch1, pl mk (18) Rnd4: *sc2, 2 sc into next st*, repeat from * to *, sl st, w/Color B ch1, pl mk (24) Rnd5: *sc3, 2 sc into next st*, repeat from * to *, sl st, BO (30) Top of "L" w/Color B ch2 R1: sc into 1st ch sp, ch1, turn (1) R2 - 5: sc1, ch1, turn (1) R6: sc1, BO Center of "L" w/Color B ch9 R1: sc8, ch1, turn (8) R2: sc8, BO Bottom of "L" w/Color B ch5 R1: sc4, ch1, turn (4) R2: sc2, ch1, turn (2) R3: skip 1st sc, sc1, ch1, turn (1) R4 - 8: sc1, ch1, turn (1) R9: sc1, BO Shape up the "L" w/Color A go around the "L" with a slip stitch. You're only creating the thinnest line to outline the "L" and shape it to look like the Lakers "L". When you're not happy, undo your work. Make sure your slip stitches are even. This may mean creating areas of the "L" to go into, but the end result is worth it. Attach the circle to the front/center of your sleeve, then attach the "L" over the Circle. Weave in ends
