I’ve wanted to make a watercolor tutorial for a long time now, but there are so many artists better than I that I couldn’t see a reason until now!
Watercolor is a fun and often challenging painting medium that requires patience and practice. But it doesn’t have to be a wait-all-day project. In this tutorial we are not only painting with minimal wait time, we are painting simple shapes with eye-catching color on black paper.
This has been my favorite birthday card project for awhile now. Using Stonehenge Aqua Cold Press Black Watercolor Paper, Gansai Tambi Color Gems Watercolor Paint, and a White Gelly Roll Pen we are making a super beginner-friendly gift card that will be cherished by the gift recipient.
